Taylor Yust is a Level III Gameplay Engineer at Retro Studios since June 2017, collaborating with designers and artists to implement gameplay mechanics and AI, currently contributing to Metroid Prime 4. Previously, Taylor served as Lead Software Engineer at Tesseract from October 2012 to June 2017, where responsibilities included leading programming students, technical design, and the implementation of various game systems and AI. Additionally, Taylor was a Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas from August 2012 to August 2014, supporting Dr. Craig Thompson. Taylor holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, completed in 2014 and 2012, respectively.
