Klaas Bijlsma

Klaas Bijlsma is an accomplished electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in grid connection management and electrical consulting. Currently serving as the Grid Connection Manager at Return since February 2025, Klaas has held notable positions such as the Owner and Senior Electrical Consultant at Bijlsma Project Management since May 2018, and prior to that, managed grid connections at Corre Energy. Klaas has also contributed to major projects as Lead Electrical Engineer at Stork, Electrical Manager at Vattenfall's Magnum Power Plant, and as Principal Electrical Engineer at Shell. With a robust foundation in electrical engineering, including a Bachelor of Science degree from NHL University of Applied Sciences, Klaas has developed expertise across various roles at NAM, where responsibilities spanned from project engineering to maintenance management.
