Vijay Rengan

Vijay Rengan has over 30 years of experience in the business, including Customer Success, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing. Vijay began their career in 1989 as a Senior Software Engineer at Analysts International Corporation, where they developed and supported AIX operating systems solutions for IBM's worldwide customer base. In 1991, they joined The Kernel Group as a Senior Technical Program Manager, where they were a shareholder and part of a "Tiger" team that provided support and solutions to IBM Austin. In 1996, they founded and became the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Operations of EML Incorporated, a successful niche technical software contract services firm in Austin. Vijay managed all operations of the customer support team with over $5M in annual revenues. In 2021, they joined ReturnSafe as a Senior Principal Business Consultant - Customer Success, Sales & Marketing. In this role, they are a Principal Business consultant and builds strong relationships, collaborates with people across the organization, and leverages available resources to get the job done. Vijay also engages with product and development teams, proposes feature requests as driven by the market, helps development efforts stay agile, and keeps the sales team in sync with the product development pipeline info.

Vijay Rengan obtained a Bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli between 1983 and 1987. Vijay then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1988 and 1990. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance, General from Texas McCombs School of Business between 1995 and 1997.
