Colleen Howe

Colleen Howe is a seasoned professional in the field of energy reporting and international relations, currently serving as a China Energy Correspondent for Reuters since September 2023. Prior to this role, Howe held the position of Program Manager at the Asia Business Council from January 2020 to September 2023 and worked as a Reporter at Argus Media from July 2016 to January 2020. Additional experience includes internships and contractor positions at notable organizations such as the Environmental Defense Fund, US African Development Foundation, U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the U.S. Department of State. Colleen Howe holds a Master's Degree in International Relations with a focus on International Economics, Energy, and Environment from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Graduate Certificate in Chinese Studies from the Hopkins Nanjing Center, along with a Bachelor's Degree in History from Pomona College.
