Saqib Ahmed

Saqib Ahmed is an experienced financial journalist currently serving as a stocks, options, and FX reporter at Reuters since January 2021, and previously worked as an ETF/investments correspondent and options correspondent at Reuters News Agency from August 2014. Prior to that, Saqib held the position of Senior Correspondent at Thomson Reuters, where leadership of the broker research team involved issuing alerts on brokerage rating changes for stocks. Experience also includes a role as a correspondent at Reuters India Private Limited and a position at HSBC Data Processing India Pvt Ltd. Saqib Ahmed holds a P.G. Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism and has an Indian School Certificate in Commerce from St. Joseph's College, Kolkata.
