David Fleming

David Fleming has over 25 years of experience in economic development and urban revitalization. Currently serving as President and CEO of REV Birmingham since October 2011, David leads initiatives to enhance commercial districts in Birmingham. Previously, David held the role of Executive Director at Main Street Birmingham, managing the BEACON program for neighborhood district revitalization, and served as Vice President for Planning and Urban Development at Operation New Birmingham, focusing on City Center development. Experience also includes a position as Development Officer at Sloss Real Estate Company, where David managed diverse real estate projects, and a role as Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Spencer Bachus. David holds a BA in History and Political Science from Samford University and a Master's in Public/Private Management from Birmingham Southern College.
