Jesus Muniz

Jesus Muniz has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Jesus began their career in 2004 as a Senior Business Analyst at Netspend. In 2006, they moved to Dell Financial Service as a Business Analysis Advisor. In 2007, they were hired as a Business Intelligence Manager at MPower Labs. From 2009 to present, they have been employed at Räv Worldwide, where they have held various roles, including SVP of Strategy, SVP of Business Intelligence, Interim SVP of Risk Management, VP of Financial Operations and Business Intelligence, Assistant Vice President of Business Intelligence, Director of MIS, and Director of Financial Operations. In these roles, they have worked with the CEO and CFO to analyze, model, and forecast strategic initiatives; provided the Risk Management team with data and analysis to prevent and minimize fraud losses; explored the implementation of AI into AML and transactional monitoring; upgraded the company’s data warehouse and reporting databases; evaluated BI tools; migrated from an Oracle Database to Amazon Redshift; restructured the Financial Operations team; improved and streamlined operational processes; designed necessary reports; analyzed current products and markets; reengineered the Business Intelligence team; stabilized the data warehouse and reporting database ETL; implemented a Customer Lifecycle Management system; enabled the production of executive dashboards and reports; designed and produced senior management reporting; and designed and implemented settlement processes.

Jesus Muniz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management - Information Technologies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 1994 and 2002. Jesus also obtained an Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera in March 2018.
