Michael Hejazi

Michael Hejazi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael currently works as a Product Lead in the legal vertical at Rev, where they contribute to speech-to-text services using AI. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Product Manager at a freelancer marketplace. Michael also worked as a Data Analytics & Visualization Instructor at Butler University, where they taught comprehensive courses on data science and analytics. Additionally, they were an Advisor at Hamzabaan, a startup in the field of language education. Michael also gained valuable experience at Basalam, where they served as a Group Product Manager and achieved significant growth in returning customer GMV. Michael co-founded SAGE AI and was responsible for heading the product and designing the go-to-market strategy. Michael worked on various roles at SAGE AI, including Product Designer, Frontend Web Developer, and Data Scientist. Previously, they co-founded the AI Startup Boot Camp at DigikalaNEXT and founded English4Life, a community for English language learning. Michael was also self-employed as a Quantitative Developer, analyzing crypto and stock markets. Moreover, they worked as an Interpreter and Negotiator at the 11th International Animation Festival Tehran and as an Interpreter at Edoardo Agnelli group.

Michael Hejazi has a diverse education history. In 2022, they obtained a Certificate in Finance from Columbia University. In the same year, they also completed a Startup School program in Entrepreneurship at Y Combinator. Prior to these achievements, Michael pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering with a minor in Mathematics at Khayyam University from 2014 to 2017, but did not complete the program. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in topics such as product strategy, cash flow analysis, risk management, and advanced SQL from institutions like Reforge, edX, Kaggle, and Coursera.
