Diego Arena has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Diego began their career in 2008 as a Software Developer at Suris Proyectos Informáticos, where they worked on a project for the Caja Previsional de Mendoza, performing frontend and backend development and deploying into testing and production environments.

Diego then joined Belatrix Software in 2010 as a QA Engineer, where they created test cases, conducted smoke testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing for e-learning websites. Diego also used Jira for bug reporting.

In 2011, Diego worked at Rotterdam CS as a Software & Support Developer, contributing to the backend and frontend development of a web application for TNT, an international express and mail delivery services company. Diego utilized technologies such as Java, JSP, Struts, HTML, and JavaScript.

Diego returned to Belatrix Software in 2012 as a QA Automation Engineer, focusing on client unit tests and iOS unit tests using iOS simulators. Diego also took on the role of a Quality Automation Engineer within the feature team, conducting exploratory testing, smoke testing, and regression testing for financial software projects.

From 2018 to 2021, Diego worked at Globant as a Test Automation Engineer, where they migrated automation scripts from SVN to Git and maintained an automation framework using Eggplant Functional.

Diego then joined Ohana in 2021 as a QA Automation Engineer and later became a QA Automation Lead at REVAI in 2022. In these roles, they developed automation frameworks for UI E2E tests using Cypress and TypeScript, as well as API integration tests using Jest and TypeScript. Diego also conducted manual testing, developed API and mobile automation frameworks, collaborated with other teams on automation efforts, and supported the analysis of user stories.

Additionally, Diego has experience in project maintenance, analysis of production logs, development of new features, and system upgrades in their freelance work as a Software Developer.

Diego Arena completed their education at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina. From 2007 to 2010, they obtained a Technician degree in Computer Programming. Diego continued their education at the same university from 2007 to 2016 and earned an Analyst degree in Computer Systems Analysis/Analyst. Additionally, Diego has obtained certifications in Secure Development from EndWall Cybersecurity in September 2021 and in SOASTA TouchTest Foundation Level Examination from SOASTA, Inc. in December 2014.
