Michael R. Norton

Dr. Michael Norton graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine Dental School in Cardiff in 1988. He received further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Thomas Hospital London, and the Royal London Hospital and subsequently fulfilled the General Dental Council requirements to be certified as a specialist in Oral Surgery. Dr Norton’s practice has been a leading center for dental implants in the United Kingdom for over 25 years where he runs his private practice, Norton Implants is located on Harley Street, famed for being home to some of world’s most prestigious medical specialist practices. In 2007 Dr Norton was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, where he served on the Specialist Advisory Board to help establish the Royal College Diploma in Implant Dentistry. He was the first ever non-American President of the US-based Academy of Osseointegration (AO) in 2017 and also President of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) in 2000. Dr. Norton is currently Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania.
