Rahul Jadia Ph.D.

R&D Manager Technology Development at RevBio

Rahul Jadia Ph.D. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Quality Control Intern at Gomati Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for the quality control of refined Copper Phthalocyanine pigment and reduction of metal traces. In 2009, they were a Production Intern at RAVESHIA PIGMENTS LIMITED. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they developed monodispersed drug delivery systems using nanoprecipitation, sonication, and single emulsion techniques with desired physicochemical properties. Rahul also synthesized poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) – polyethylene glycol (PEG) block copolymer to prepare hydrophobic drugs encapsulating PLGA-PEG nanoparticles for sustained release, and wrote and revised SOPs for bio-conjugation of small molecule, peptide and antibody on the surface of polymeric based and lipid based nanoparticles. Rahul was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Chemical Engineering and Plastics Engineering, where they instructed, evaluated and graded physical properties lab and plastics processing lab for sophomores and graduate students. In 2017, they were a Formulation Intern in Product Development at Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc., where they were responsible for designing a novel process to synthesis polymeric microspheres as an external platform to the existing DeterX technology, and optimizing the formulation and process parameters to produce microspheres of desired physicochemical properties. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Project Scientist and Materials Scientist at RevBio, Inc.

Rahul Jadia Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Dyestuff and Intermediates from the Institute Of Chemical Technology in 2009-2011. Rahul then went on to receive their Master's degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology/Technician from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2012-2015. Finally, they completed their PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Cancer nanomedicine focusing on targeted theranostics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013-2018.
