Steven Rascón

Steven Rascón is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in production, reporting, and sound design. Currently serving as Production Manager and previously Production Assistant at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting since August 2020, Steven has played a key role in producing various formats including award-winning podcasts. At KQED, from May 2022 to January 2024, Steven produced stories for podcasts and newscasts. Other notable experiences include reporting roles at the Investigative Reporting Program, PolitiFact, and as a VoteBeat Reporter at CalMatters, along with contributions to California Magazine. Prior to a career in journalism, Steven worked as a Catering Manager and VIP Concierge, and completed a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Creative Writing from the University of the Arts.
