Dason Fujimoto

Dason Fujimoto has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Dason is currently serving as the Director of Technology and Training at RevoluSun Smart Home since March 2023. In this role, they have improved relationships with manufacturers, developed internal technical documentation, and published installation guides, resulting in reduced revisits and remote support on-call time. Dason has also standardized technician onboarding, which has decreased turnover and improved system validation check timelines and new installation failure rates. Furthermore, they have increased site visit volume and guided RevoluSun through changing requirements and implementations.

Prior to this, Dason worked as a Sales Application Engineering Specialist II ET at Generac Power Systems from September 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they held various positions at RevoluSun Smart Home, including Lead Photovoltaic Technician and Photovoltaic Technician from October 2019 to September 2021 and November 2017 to October 2019, respectively.

Dason's earlier experience includes working as an Apprentice Electrician at Rising Sun Solar from August 2015 to October 2017 and as an Electrical Expeditor at American Electric Hawaii from June 2014 to August 2015.

Dason Fujimoto began their education at Hilo High School, where they obtained a Diploma of Education from 2009 to 2012. After their high school education, they attended Hawaii Community College from 2012 to 2015. During their time there, they pursued a field of study in Electrical Installation & Maintenance Technology, although they did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Dason has obtained several certifications related to their field of expertise. These certifications include the Zendesk Foundational Support Certification from Zendesk in April 2023, the FranklinWH Installer Certification from FranklinWH Energy Storage Inc. in February 2023, and the Tesla Powerwall+ Certified Installer certification from Tesla in July 2022. Other certifications include the Generac PWRcell Certified Trainer certification from Generac Power Systems in January 2022, the CE526: 2020 NEC: PV & Energy Storage Systems certification from Solar Energy International (SEI) in December 2021, and the Certified Installer certification from Span in July 2021. Additionally, Dason holds certifications from Enphase Energy, SolarEdge Technologies, and Tesla in various aspects of solar and energy installation. Dason obtained their Forklift Operator License from IES TRAINING in July 2016 and has completed an OSHA 10-Hour training, although the specific details of the OSHA training are not provided.
