Jan Smith

Jan Smith is a highly experienced scientific leader with a focus on biology and biochemistry. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President, Head of Biology at Revolution Medicines since November 2015, Jan has a robust background in the biopharmaceutical sector, having held key positions such as Vice President of Biology at the same company and Senior Director at Theravance Biopharma, Inc. Prior roles include Research Scientist II at Roche and a Post-doctoral Research Scientist at both Sandoz and the University of California, Irvine. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Bath.
