Jane Jingyu Zhang

Jane Jingyu Zhang has a diverse range of work experience in the animation and art industry. Jane Jingyu began their career as a Production Assistant Intern at HB Wink Animation Co., Ltd. in 2019. Jane Jingyu then worked as a Digital Illustrator Animator and Illustrator at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery from 2017 to 2019. In 2021, Jane served as a Co-representative/Co-Organizer at the University of California, Los Angeles, and later as a 3D Motion Design Animator at TC Communications. Jane Jingyu also worked as an Office Assistant at the UCLA Animation Workshop and as a Visual Development Artist at XALTER Studios. In 2022, Jane worked as an Environment Artist at Baobab Studios, an Art Instructor at Little Da Vinci Art Studio, and an External Relations Researcher and Event Assistant at Asians in Animation. Most recently, they joined Revolving Games, Inc. as a Concept Artist, contributing to the designs of Worldbuilding, Environments, Characters, and Props for the game Skyborne Legacy.

Jane Jingyu Zhang began their education in 2015 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine and Studio Arts. During their time there, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management. In 2018, they attended the California Institute of the Arts for summer animation classes, focusing on life drawing, design for films, and storytelling. Jane completed their undergraduate studies in 2019.

After completing their bachelor's degrees, Jane Jingyu Zhang enrolled at UCLA in 2019 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree in Animation. Their study program is expected to be completed in 2022.

Regarding additional certifications, in 2016, Jane participated in the English as A Second Language Writing Contest at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jane Jingyu also attended a Summer Animation Residency at the California Institute of the Arts, although specific details about when they obtained this certification were not provided.
