Ian Gilham

Ian Gilham serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at LifeArc since October 2021 and holds several non-executive chair positions including at Pelago Bioscience AB, RevoNA Bio, genedrive plc, and previously at Cytox Limited and Aptamer Group. Ian's tenure at Horizon Discovery from July 2013 to January 2021 included leading the company through a successful IPO and a notable sale to Perkin-Elmer. Ian also chaired BioSurfit and Elucigene Diagnostics, and oversaw Multiplicom NV’s growth leading to its acquisition by Agilent Inc. Ian's academic credentials include a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Bath and a BSc in Zoology from Bangor University.
