Jose B. Toro

Jose B. Toro has a wealth of experience in the field of orthopaedic traumatology. Jose B. began their career in 2003 as an Orthopedic Trauma Fellow and Metabolic Bone Disease Fellow at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Jose B. then moved to the James J Peters Bronx VA Medical Center in 2005, where they served as an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon. In 2007, they became Director of Orthopedic Traumatology at Jacobi Medical Center. In 2013, they co-founded RevOrtho LLC. In 2015, they were appointed Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Peconic Bay Medical Center. Finally, in 2017, they joined Orange Regional Medical Center as an Orthopaedic Traumatologist.

Jose B. Toro obtained a Doctor and Surgeon degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana between 1991 and 1997. Jose B. then obtained an Orthopaedic Surgeon degree from the same university between 1991 and 2003. Jose B. also holds certifications from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Fellow, obtained in March 2019), the American College of Surgeons (Fellow, obtained in October 2018), the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (Diplomate), the AO Foundation (Member) and the Orthopedic Trauma Association (Member).
