Zev Wisotsky

Zev Wisotsky, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Zev is currently working as a Senior Principal Marketing Manager at Revvity Signals since July 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of Value Engineering (Business & Marketing) at Kalderos from March 2022 to January 2023.

From May 2019 to March 2022, Zev worked at Benchling as a Scientific Solutions Consultant. In this role, they successfully closed deals and generated a total platform value of over $18.5M. Zev also played a vital role in orchestrating laboratory workflows and standardizing sample registration and management. Zev collaborated with clients to understand their needs and presented software solutions effectively. Zev also contributed to the development of marketing materials and mentored new team members.

Before joining Benchling, Zev worked at Science Exchange. Zev had various roles, including Business Development Manager from February 2019 to March 2019, Staff Scientist and Research and Development Specialist from September 2017 to February 2019, Senior Sourcing Manager from February 2017 to September 2017, and Sourcing Manager from September 2015 to February 2017.

Zev's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from January 2015 to September 2015. Here, they conducted research on fear memory and drug withdrawal, developed fear-conditioning paradigms, studied pain detection neurons, and identified neural circuits related to fear behavior.

During their graduate studies at the University of California, Riverside from September 2009 to December 2014, Zev served as a Graduate Student Researcher. Zev investigated taste detection mechanisms using fruit flies, collaborated with engineering students on algorithm design, and studied gene polymorphisms.

Additionally, Zev had a brief role as a Lab Manager at UC Santa Cruz in 2008 and interned as an Operations Intern at BD in 2007.

Zev Wisotsky, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008. Zev then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience at the University of California, Riverside, which they completed in 2015.
