Edek Williams

Edek Williams, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Field Application Scientist at Revvity since July 2023, building upon a diverse background in biomedical engineering. Prior experience includes a role as Field Application Scientist and Microscopy Specialist at Akoya Biosciences, Inc., where responsibilities included conducting verification and validation tests. Edek also worked as an Integration Engineer and Graduate Researcher at Rutgers University, focusing on the impact of fructose on bone health for the dissertation project. Early career experiences comprise an undergraduate co-op at Stryker Orthopaedics and research at The City College of New York, developing models for knee joint analysis. Edek holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from The City College of New York.
