Femke van Engen is a skilled Data Scientist currently working at Rewire since April 2023. Previously, Femke served as a Graduate Intern at TNO from February to December 2022. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Femke contributed as Team Lead Procurement & Scalability for Project Inspiration, where Femke played a key role in developing a low-budget mechanical ventilator in just one week. Femke also has experience as a Teacher of Mathematics Exam Trainings at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden, where Femke supported high school students in their exam preparations. In addition, Femke held several leadership positions, including Treasurer of Delft Career Platform, where budgeting and bookkeeping were key responsibilities, and Secretary of the Introduction Weekend Commission for Gezelschap Leeghwater, organizing events for new students. Femke has a Master’s degree in Systems & Control and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, along with a background in Bilingual pre-university education in Nature & Technology.
