Jade Barricelli

Jade Barricelli has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jade is currently working as the VP of Student and Partner Programs at Rewriting the Code, a national non-profit organization that empowers college women in the field of technology. In this role, they are responsible for developing and managing a rapidly growing community of college women in tech.

Prior to their current position, Jade worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Senior Assistant Director for Computer Science in Career Services. Jade'sresponsibilities included providing career development opportunities to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD Computer Science students. Jade also established and maintained relationships with employers seeking Computer Science students for internships and job opportunities, and organized programs to facilitate connections between students and employers.

Before their time at UNC Chapel Hill, Jade worked at George Mason University as an Academic Advisor and Technology Coordinator. In this role, they provided academic advising and support to undecided undergraduate students and monitored their academic progress. Jade also taught the Freshmen Transitions course for several years.

Jade Barricelli began their education in 2002 at the University at Buffalo, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Jade then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Counseling from PennWest Edinboro in the years 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Jade Barricelli has acquired several certifications. In 2013, they received a certification in Business and Social Etiquette from The Etiquette Institute in Saint Louis, Missouri. In 2014, they obtained certifications in the MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory from GS Consultants. Jade also completed the Federal Advisor Certificate Program from the Partnership for Public Service in 2014. Furthermore, they completed the NACE Career Coaching Intensive training from the National Association of Colleges and Employers in 2014.
