Alvaro Alpizar

Alvaro Alpizar has a long and varied work experience. Alvaro started their career as CEO of REX CARGO, INC in 1983. In 1993, they moved on to become the President of Rex America Group. In 2014, Alvaro joined the World BASC Organization as a Director. Alvaro held various roles within the organization, including President from 2015 to 2019. Alvaro has contributed significantly to the development and governance of the World BASC Organization.

Alvaro Alpizar's education history includes attending multiple business schools. In 2011, they studied at the IPADE Business School, where they pursued the Alta Dirección II - AD2 program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Before that, in 1999, they enrolled at the INCAE Business School for the Programa de Alta Gerencia - PAG, which focused on Business Administration and Management, General. Their earliest recorded education is from the period between 1985 and 1988 when they attended the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and studied Business Administration and Management, although the precise degree earned during that time is unknown.
