Roy Aguilar Alvarez

Roy Aguilar Alvarez is an experienced professional specializing in operations and logistics, currently serving as Gerente General RexLogística LatAm at REX CARGO, INC since July 2021. Prior to this role, Roy held the position of Gerente General de Operaciones at RainForest Water from November 2016 to July 2021, where key responsibilities included developing strategic plans and overseeing financial accounting. From August 2007 to November 2016, Roy was Gerente de Operaciones at Instituto del Café de Costa Rica, managing the export of over 5,000 containers annually and setting pricing strategies for coffee on an international scale. Additionally, Roy served as Gerente de Operaciones Regional at Global Financial Cattica, S.A. from July 2001 to August 2007, focusing on coffee production and exportation. Educationally, Roy holds a Master of Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, as well as a Licentiate degree in Industrial Production Engineering.
