Hera Grimdottir

Hera Grimdottir is currently serving as the Chief Research and Development Officer at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur, a power and utility company owned by three municipalities. Prior to this role, Hera held leadership positions at Reykjavik University as the Chair of the Department of Applied Engineering and as Head of the Civil Engineering department. With a background in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration, Hera has extensive experience in project management and engineering, having worked at companies like Össur and EFLA Consulting Engineers. Additionally, Hera has experience as an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses in Risk and Decision Analysis and Project Management to engineering students.
