Sigrún Viktorsdóttir has extensive work experience in the customer service and human resources fields. Sigrún started their career at VR in 2000 as the Human Resources Manager, a role they held for eight years. In 2008, they joined Orkuveita Reykjavíkur as a Customer Service Supervisor, and later became the Head of Service Center in 2009. In 2014, they were promoted to the position of Head of Customer Experience at Orkuveita Reykjavíkur.
Sigrún Viktorsdóttir earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Háskóli Íslands, which they attended from 1988 to 1992. In 2009, they pursued further education and completed a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services at Þekkingarmiðð þjónustustjórnun, where they studied for a year.
