Laura Hanf

Laura Hanf, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and auditing. Laura currently holds the position of Lead Finance Manager at Reynolds American Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at FORVIS as an Assurance Manager from September 2022 to October 2022, and as a Senior Assurance Associate from June 2022 to September 2022.

Before joining FORVIS, Laura Hanf worked at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP. Laura served as a Senior Assurance Associate from October 2020 to June 2022, an Assurance Associate from January 2019 to October 2020, and as a NEAR Intern from August 2018 to January 2019.

In addition, Laura Hanf worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from August 2017 to December 2018. Laura gained internship experience at PwC as a Core Assurance Intern from June 2018 to August 2018, and at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP as an Audit Intern from January 2018 to March 2018.

Before starting their career in finance and auditing, Laura Hanf held various roles. Laura worked as a Painter at A New View from May 2015 to August 2015, and again from May 2017 to August 2017. Laura was an Evening Team Member at Chick-fil-A Restaurants from May 2016 to April 2017, and a Marketing Intern at Braathe Enterprises from January 2016 to June 2016.

Laura Hanf, CPA completed their education in a sequential manner. Laura started their education journey in 2014 by enrolling in Rockingham Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies in 2015. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. In 2016, Laura also participated in a Summer Study Abroad program at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the German Language. Finally, in 2017 and 2018, they attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting.
