Shalini Upadhyaya

Shalini Upadhyaya is an Associate Professor of Biology and Program Head STEM Teacher Education at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Shalini is also a Quality Matters Certified Peer Reviewer for Sciences and Education courses. With previous experience as a Chemistry Teacher at Chesterfield County Public School and as an Upward Bound Instructor at Mary Washington University, Shalini has a strong background in education and curriculum development. Shalini holds degrees in Environmental Science and Teaching Certification from Virginia Tech, as well as an M.S in Life Science, Botany, and Environmental Biology from Agra University in India.
