Ryan Niemela

Ryan Niemela is a seasoned professional in operational excellence and continuous improvement, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement at Reynolds Consumer Products since May 2022. Previously, Ryan held the position of Continuous Improvement - North America CI and Supply Strategy Manager at McCain Foods from January 2021 to July 2022, leading strategic initiatives in the North American region. Ryan's background includes a role at Barilla Group where responsibilities focused on managing Kaizen events, implementing lean practices, and optimizing supply chain processes from March 2018 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a Supply Chain Analyst at MidAmerican Energy Company (2016 - 2018) and as an Electrical Signal Engineer at the Toronto Transit Commission from 2008 to 2013. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management and Operations from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from Mohawk College.
