Rajeendra Dharmawardhana

Rajeendra Dharmawardhana has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rajeendra started their professional career in 1994 as a Technical Support Engineer at Micro Touch Software Services in India. After that, they worked as an Analyst Programmer at Softlogic Information Systems Ltd from 1996 to 1997. Rajeendra then joined General Ceramics Limited as a System Analyst in 1997, where they stayed until 2004. In 2004, Rajeendra joined eBuilder as a Software Engineer and Solutions Architect. During their time at eBuilder, they worked on various projects, including the re-engineering and implementation of a Repair & Return Connector for NOKIA phones, as well as the design and implementation of a leave management application. Their responsibilities at eBuilder included gathering requirements, system design, and mentoring team members. Since 2015, Rajeendra has been working at Rezgateway as a Solutions Architect. Their main project at Rezgateway has been the re-engineering of the existing travel booking reservation system into microservices. Their responsibilities include use case analysis, system designing, and mentoring team members to meet sprint challenges.

Rajeendra Dharmawardhana has a diploma in Computer Systems Design from the National Institute of Business Management in Colombo. Rajeendra also holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Aldersgate College. Rajeendra has completed various certificate programs, including Oracle forms developer, PL/SQL, Architecture and administration from the DMS Training Centre in Colombo. Rajeendra is also a Sun certified java programmer, having completed training at Sun Microsystems. Additionally, Rajeendra has a certification in Visual Basic from the University of Colombo. Rajeendra has further expanded their knowledge by completing the Architecting on AWS and AWS Technical Essentials programs through AWS.
