Tayeb Bouamama

Tayeb Bouamama has more than 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on manufacturing sciences and technology, process development, and downstream purification.

Tayeb is currently serving as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) at Rezolute, Inc. In this role, they oversee manufacturing technology transfer and develops strategies to support engineering runs, clinical runs, and commercial campaigns.

Prior to their current position, Tayeb worked at Samsung BioLogics as an Associate Director and Lead Scientist in MSAT. Tayeb led the technology transfer of manufacturing processes for multi-product biologics and conducted facility assessments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Before joining Samsung BioLogics, Tayeb held various roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they focused on downstream purification processes for proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and other biologics. Tayeb also played a key role in coordinating downstream activities for a DARPin molecule project and implementing innovative technologies for cost-effective processes.

Tayeb's career in the biopharmaceutical industry began at Abgenix Inc, where they worked as a Process Development Associate and contributed to the optimization and scale-up of downstream processes for therapeutic antibodies. Tayeb also gained experience in technology transfer and ensuring regulatory compliance for GMP production runs.

Prior to entering the biopharmaceutical industry, Tayeb worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, performing various laboratory tests in immunology, serology, biochemistry, and microbiology.

Throughout their career, Tayeb has demonstrated expertise in process development, technology transfer, compliance, and problem-solving. Tayeb has also shown leadership skills in managing teams and implementing strategic initiatives.

Tayeb Bouamama completed an MBA in Marketing and Project Management from DeVry University - Westminster from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the Institute of Biology and Biochemistry from 1994 to 1996. In addition, Tayeb also completed an Analyst Programmer program in Computer Science from the Computer Institute in 1994-1995. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a specialization in Botany/Plant Biology from the University Mohamed Fist Oujda, although the specific years of study for this degree are not provided.
