Matthew Bergman, PMP, PMI-ACP

Matthew Bergman, PMP, PMI-ACP, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew currently works at DENSO as a Program Manager (Advanced Specialist) since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Project Coordinator (Senior Specialist) from January 2020 to December 2021 at the same company. Matthew also held the positions of Program Coordinator (Specialist) from July to December 2019, and Program Coordinator (Specialist) from July 2018 to June 2019 at DENSO.

In addition to their roles at DENSO, Matthew worked as an RF Engineer at RF-Works starting from May 2015. Matthew also has experience as a Lacrosse Coach, having served as a Lacrosse Coach at Summit Lacrosse Club from March to September 2021, and as a Head Lacrosse Coach at Farragut High School from July 2020 to May 2021, and as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach from January to July 2020.

Matthew's engineering experience includes their role as the Engineering Manager at WVU EcoCAR3 Team from August 2016 to July 2018. Matthew also gained valuable experience through a summer internship at RF-Works in June to August 2014.

Matthew Bergman, PMP, PMI-ACP has a strong education background in project management and engineering. Matthew obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management from LSU Shreveport between 2022 and 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at West Virginia University from 2015 to 2018. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Wheeling University, which they completed from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Matthew Bergman has obtained several certifications related to project management. Matthew obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2021 and the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification in June 2022. Furthermore, they have acquired expertise in value delivery systems in projects through a certification from the International Institute for Learning, which they obtained in January 2023. Matthew Bergman also holds a certification in Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers from the same institution, which they obtained in December 2022.
