Laura Gray

Laura Gray, Wine Industry Counselor at RF|Binder, brings over 20 years of experience working in the Italian wine industry. She has direct experience in viticulture, winemaking, branding, and generational transfers. She has designed marketing, product development, and communications initiatives key to bringing Italian wines to the US market. Laura also is well-versed in the various aspects of Italian and EU regulation, financial administration, and compliance in the Italian wine industry. Through her Counselor role, Laura offers a crucial insider’s perspective and understanding of the Italian wine business combined with expertise in marketing wines in the US market. Prior to becoming Wine Industry Counselor, Laura was CEO of a highly regarded boutique Brunello vineyard for twenty years. She is currently writing a book on Montalcino, Italy. She grew up in Scotland and has lived in Italy for over 25 years. Fluent in both Italian and English, she has a bachelor’s degree from Oxford University.
