Samia Hakimi

Samia Hakimi currently holds the position of Médecin directrice du secteur de psychiatrie et de psychothérapie de la personne âgée at RFSM - Réseau fribourgeois de santé mentale, and serves as Directrice par intérim at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg within the Faculty of Sciences and Medicine since March 2021. In addition, Samia Hakimi has been a Chargée de cours at both Haute école de santé Fribourg and Université de Fribourg since October 2016 and March 2021, respectively, and has been practicing as a Medical Doctor at Réseau fribourgeois de santé mentale since March 2011. Previously, a role as Directrice adjointe was held at RFSM from September 2017 to June 2021. Samia Hakimi earned a Doctor of Medicine degree with a specialization in Psychiatry from Université libre de Bruxelles, followed by a FMH specialist qualification in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Elderly from the University of Lausanne. Additional advanced degrees in Psychotherapies and Sleep Medicine were obtained from Université catholique de Louvain and Universite de Lille 3, respectively.
