Brenda Serrano

Brenda Serrano, MBA, has extensive experience in community management and communications, currently serving in production and community management roles at R/GA since August 2021, working on the Verizon account. Prior to this, Brenda worked as a community manager at Edelman for various accounts, including T. J, until January 2024, and held the same position at DRUNK ELEPHANT from 2022 to 2023. Brenda's earlier roles at Columbia College Hollywood included Director of Communications, where oversight of social strategy and crisis communications was a primary responsibility, and Director of Student Life, where a successful Instagram account for student engagement was launched. Brenda began the journey as a Student Life Coordinator, addressing brand and resource awareness through innovative proposals. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Modern Literature with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
