Gerard Hughes

Gerard Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Gerard currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at RGF Staffing APEJ. Prior to this, they served as the Head of IT at Peoplebank Australia Ltd for eight years and held various other roles within the company, including IT Manager and IT System Administrator. Before joining Peoplebank, Gerard worked as an IT Manager at the UK Representation to the EU. Gerard also served as an IT System Administrator at the European Commission. Gerard began their career at IBM Australia as a CICS Systems Programmer. Gerard also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at the University of Newcastle and started their professional journey as a Trainee Electrical Engineer at BHP Australia.

Gerard Hughes earned a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Newcastle between 1984 and 1989. Gerard later enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney and completed a Graduate Certificate in IT Management in the field of IT Management Program from 2009 to 2010.
