Brett McGinness is an experienced opinion/engagement editor at Reno Gazette-Journal since December 2014. Brett leads efforts to enhance interaction between RGJ journalists and readers through interactive events within the community. As an audience analyst, Brett analyzes audience data and presents findings to develop strategies to increase readership and engagement. Brett has also worked as a freelance writer for various publications and served as the Lead Writer for 'For The Record' at USA TODAY. In addition, Brett has experience in marketing and promotions, data analysis, and sponsorship services with the San Francisco Giants. Brett holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
