Michael Ma has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael is currently employed at Variperm Energy Services as the Operations Support Director and previously held the role of Sand Control Manager. Before that, they worked at Baker Hughes as a Product Manager for Sand Control Screens/ICDs and also served as an Application Advisor II, Technical and Operations Support Manager, and District Engineer. Michael worked at SinoPetroleum Technology Inc. as a Completions Technical Manager and had a role as a Field Specialist & Supervisor at Schlumberger, specializing in Slickline, Completions, and Sand Control Tools.

Michael Ma pursued their education at Chengde Petroleum College from 1998 to 2001. During this period, they completed an Associate's degree in Automobile Engineering.
