Sarah Nielsen, PHRca, SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Sarah started their career in 2007 as a Legal Assistant - HR Coordinator at Puente Consulting, Inc., a leading provider of HR and employment law services in California. During their time at Puente Consulting, they gained valuable experience in HR coordination and legal expertise.
In 2011, Sarah joined Remote Ocean Systems (ROS) as a Human Resource Manager. Sarah held this position for four years, where they managed various HR functions within the company.
Since 2015, Sarah has been working at Richard Heath and Associates, Inc. (RHA), initially as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this role, they provided HR support to the organization and collaborated with business leaders to develop effective HR strategies. Recently, they have been promoted to the position of Human Resources Director, where they continue to contribute their HR knowledge and skills.
Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development and has obtained certifications as a PHRca and SHRM-CP. Their diverse work experience has equipped their with a broad range of HR skills and expertise.
Sarah Nielsen, PHRca, SHRM-CP has a diverse education history. Sarah obtained a Certificate in Human Resource Management from San Diego State University from the years 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from San Diego State University.
Sarah has also obtained multiple certifications in the field of Human Resources. Sarah became a Professional in Human Resources, California (PHRca) in January 2018 through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). In December 2015, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, also from HRCI. Furthermore, in February 2015, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
