Mert Topcu is a technology entrepreneur and expert in artificial intelligence and product management with extensive experience in various leadership roles across tech companies. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Rhea's Factory since January 2024, Mert focuses on developing enzymatic recycling technology to tackle global plastic waste challenges. Previously, Mert was Co-Founder and CEO at Onco Decision, where the aim was to innovate cancer care through Precision Oncology and AI, though the venture was ultimately halted. Mert's extensive tenure at Google from 2014 to 2023 included key positions as Senior Product Manager for Fitbit and YouTube, along with work on Google Assistant. With prior founding experience at bdost inc and technical roles at companies like Lab126 and Western Digital, Mert holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and multiple engineering degrees from Boğaziçi University.
