Tom Ballandat

Tom Ballandat is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and aviation services. Currently serving as Head of Program Management and Vice President Aviation Services at Rheinmetall since December 2017, Tom oversees overall program management activities, leads the establishment of the RAS F-35 Center Fuselage Production in Germany, and manages the Customer Sustainment Program across various remote locations, supervising a team of 6 direct reports and over 40 employees. Previous roles at Rheinmetall include Program Manager and Sales and Program Manager, focusing on program execution and capture management in complex aerospace environments. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Teamlead Customer Support and Project Manager at RUAG International, and served as Manager Line Maintenance and Certifying Staff Officer for the Bundeswehr. Tom holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Helmut Schmidt University and completed training at the Officer Cadet School of the German Navy.
