Vijay Padul has completed his Ph.D. in Life Sciences from TMC-ACTREC, Homi Bhabha National Institute, Navi Mumbai. His Ph.D. study focused on Cancer Genomics, involving multi-omic analysis of brain tumor glioma subtypes. Vijay has eight years of experience in the wet lab as well as in silico approaches for multi-omic studies which include exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing (RNAseq), and analysis.
Previously, Vijay has worked at the graduate and post-graduate degree colleges in the post of Assistant Professor. Thus, he brings multi-omics expertise and teaching experience to the Xions team.
Vijay Padul currently leads bioinformatics, genomics, and Next Generation Sequencing research-related activities, in the organization. His current research projects include the development of personalized neoantigen cancer vaccines and the utilization of publicly available multi-omics cancer datasets to create new insights into cancer biology and its application in cancer therapy.
