Isabell Sarah Karmel

Isabell Sarah Karmel has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and technology. Isabell Sarah is currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at RHEON LABS, a position they took up in November 2022. Isabell Sarah is also a Technology Advisor at Polyfos 3D since November 2022. Previously, they held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Polyfos 3D from July 2022 to November 2022.

Prior to their role at Polyfos 3D, Isabell worked at RHEON LABS from October 2021 to August 2022 as the Head of Chemistry. Isabell Sarah also served as the Head of R&D, Chemistry at Photocentric Ltd from October 2018 to June 2021 and as a Research Scientist - Chemistry at PHOTOCENTRIC from November 2017 to October 2018.

Isabell's early career involved academic research at the University of Cambridge, where they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemistry from October 2015 to September 2017. Their research focused on developing novel photo- and electrocatalytic systems for the reduction of molecular dinitrogen to ammonia, as well as synthesizing molecular transition metal coordination complexes and studying their electrochemical properties.

Isabell Sarah Karmel completed their education in the field of Chemistry. Isabell Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the Technical University of Munich in the years 2007-2010. Continuing their studies in the same field, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2010-2011. Isabell further advanced their academic qualifications by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree also at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2011-2015.
