Nicole Fong has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Nicole began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at MIT in 2010. Nicole then completed internships at JPMorgan Chase in 2011 and AIG in 2012. At AIG, Nicole worked as a Summer Intern and assisted with consumer lines pricing analysis.
After completing their internships, Nicole joined AIG as an Actuarial Assistant in 2013. Nicole gradually advanced within the company, holding roles such as Actuarial Asst Sr, Senior Actuarial Analyst, and Senior Actuarial Manager. During this time, Nicole played a crucial role in monitoring the performance of international commercial and consumer insurance business, implementing process optimization, and introducing a centralized data process to improve communication between headquarters and local offices.
In 2020, Nicole joined Uber as an Actuary. Nicole worked in this role until 2021 when they transitioned to Rhino as the Director of Risk. Currently, their employment at Rhino is ongoing.
Nicole Fong attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Management Science. During their education, they obtained two additional certifications. In March 2016, they became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and in January 2017, they obtained the title of Fellow of Casualty Actuarial Society from the Casualty Actuarial Society. Nicole later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at the Smartly Institute, although the specific start and end dates are not provided.
