Devonaire Ortiz

Devonaire Ortiz currently serves as the Head of Talent at Rho since January 2025. Previously, Devonaire was the Manager of Recruiting at Headway from January 2023 to January 2025, achieving a 93% offer acceptance rate and a time-to-hire of under 30 days while directly hiring over 200 individuals. Prior experience includes serving as the Manager of People Ops and Talent Acquisition at Upside Financing, where Devonaire established recruiting and HR functions, and as the Recruiting Lead at Cockroach Labs, overseeing recruiting from Series B to Series F. Earlier roles included working as a Technical Recruiter at SingleSprout and as an Admissions Associate at Wesleyan University. Devonaire holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Rutgers University - Newark and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and American Studies from Wesleyan University.
