Jed Arden

Jed Arden has an extensive work experience in various positions related to data engineering, data analysis, and automation.

Jed's most recent role is as a Senior Data Engineer at Rho since 2022, where they are responsible for data engineering tasks. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Engineer at Meta in 2021, where they handled data engineering responsibilities for the company.

Before transitioning to data engineering, Jed worked as a Data Scientist at Spotify from 2019 to 2020, focusing on data analysis in the company.

Jed also has experience in AdTech, having worked at an Unnamed AdTech Startup in 2018 as a Senior Manager - Marketing Technology. In this role, they managed a team responsible for media buying, built a data warehouse, and implemented ETL pipelines.

Prior to that, Jed held multiple roles at AdQuant Media from 2011 to 2018. Jed started as a Media Buyer, managing relationships with media partners and automating reports. Jed then became a Yield Analyst, where they measured campaign performance and developed analytics tools. Finally, they served as Director - Data, Analytics, & Automation, leading a team responsible for ad budget allocation and implementing automation solutions.

Jed also has experience in the finance industry. Jed worked as a Commando (Trading Analyst) - Equity Derivatives at Société Générale in 2014, developing tools for trade analysis and automation. Jed also worked as a Management Consultant at JEMC Capital Advisors from 2011 to 2013, advising clients on automation and developing trading algorithms.

Early in their career, Jed held positions at RBS Smart Products Inc and RBS Greenwich Capital, where they worked on fixed-income pricing and interest rate derivatives, respectively.

Jed Arden obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Connecticut. Jed attended the university from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Jed has obtained certifications in various fields. In April 2011, they acquired the ARGUS certification from Argus. Later, in January 2019, they became a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer through Triplebyte. Jed also holds an American MENSA Qualifying Certification, which they obtained from American Mensa in June 2019. Finally, in August 2020, they re-certified as a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer.
