Chris Brugge, CPA, has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Human Resources Intern at STG Inc., where they were responsible for vetting resumes against Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, managing/updating excel spreadsheets, participating in team meetings, and supporting recruitment efforts on current contracts. In 2017, they were an Accounting & Finance Fellow at Phone2Action, Inc., where they worked directly with the Comptroller and used QuickBooks on a daily basis to upload payments and make deposits. In 2018, they were an Accounting Intern at Ankura, where they assisted the Accounting Department with their high volume Accounts Payable (AP) process and prepared, bound, and formatted financial statements. In 2019, they were a Construction & Real Estate - Tax & Assurance Intern at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. In 2020, they became a Tax Associate at Baker Tilly US, and in 2022 they are currently a Staff Accountant at Rhoback.

Chris Brugge, CPA completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Christopher Newport University in 2019. Chris then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia in 2020. In November 2021, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
