Rona Singer Weinberg

Dr. Rona Singer Weinberg has more than 30 years of experience in cellular therapy and hematology research. She is the Executive Director of CCS which encompasses the cellular therapy and regenerative medicine (cGMP) laboratories. . Dr. Weinberg is also the PI of the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Research Consortium’s tissue bank, which is the largest repository of tissues from myeloproliferative neoplasm patients. Dr. Weinberg has published extensively in peer reviewed journals, has written numerous book chapters, and has presented her research findings at national and international meetings. Dr. Weinberg’s research interests include bone marrow transplantation, myeloproliferative neoplasms, hemoglobinopathies, and bone marrow failure syndromes. Dr. Weinberg earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Brooklyn College in New York and her PhD in biomedical science at CUNY Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
