Alison MacBeth

Alison Macbeth is currently serving as the Food Strategy Project Manager at Rhode Island Commerce, a position held since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Entrepreneurship Coordinator and Data Administrator at Hope & Main from October 2022 to July 2023, and as an Administrator at Grace Harbor Church from August 2020 to January 2023, where responsibilities included member engagement and event coordination. Alison has also worked as a Community Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator VISTA at Farm Fresh Rhode Island, managing a substantial volunteer pipeline, and demonstrated leadership as Editor In Chief at Rhode Island College's student newspaper, The Anchor. Additional experience includes an internship with Slow Food USA focusing on network engagement and research, various roles at Starbucks, and political engagement as an intern for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Alison holds dual bachelor's degrees in Communications & Public Relations and Political Science from Rhode Island College.
