Gisele Esquivel

Gisele Esquivel is an experienced educator currently serving as an Early Childhood Education Specialist at WSBE Rhode Island PBS since August 2023. Previously, Gisele worked for Providence Public Schools for three years as an Elementary School Teacher, where responsibilities included teaching core subjects, developing lesson plans aligned with common core standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance student achievement. Gisele also held various teaching positions, including 3rd Grade Lead Teacher at Match Education and English Teaching Assistant at Yangji Elementary School in Korea, and contributed to literacy curriculum development initiatives. Gisele's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies with an Education Minor from Smith College, complemented by a brief study at Yonsei University.
