Andrew Jacques has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and organizations. Andrew is currently serving as the Interim Director of Academic Programs at the Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to this, they were the Director of the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement at Bryant University, where they oversaw various areas of campus life. Before that, they held the position of Director of the Mayor's Center for City Services at the City of Providence, where they managed city services and represented the administration. Andrew also worked at the Rhode Island School of Design as the Assistant Director for Leadership Programs and Community Service Coordinator. Additionally, they served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Rhode Island Campus Compact, focusing on strengthening community relationships. Andrew began their career as the Lead Instructor and Volunteer Supervisor at the Diocese of Providence. Andrew also gained experience as an intern at the Office of US Senator Frank Lautenberg.
Andrew Jacques completed a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies and Political Science at Providence College from 2006 to 2010. Andrew then pursued a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School from 2011 to 2013.
